MEET FLORENCE
Guided by Buddha's wisdom to "find your purpose and give your whole heart to it," Florence discovered her calling when she founded Sucre & Sel ("sugar and salt") 14 years ago, bringing authentic French cuisine to American tables.
Born and raised in Paris with summers spent in coastal Brittany, Florence brings genuine French culinary traditions to Raleigh, NC through private catering, elegant buffets, and immersive cooking classes. Her expertise is continually refined through training at FERRANDI, Europe's premier culinary institute.
Florence’s passion for sharing French culture extends beyond the plate. In 2022, she created "Le Gourmet Getaway," curated culinary journeys through France that invite guests to experience the heart of French gastronomy and lifestyle firsthand.
With Sucre & Sel, Florence balances flavors and traditions—truly "bringing life to food."
